Meet Your Mini-Masters of the School: Student Council Scoop!

Part II of “Know Your Student Council” series. This week we meet Denis, Aleanny and Jermiah.

Hold onto your backpacks, because it’s time for round two of getting to know the awesome crew steering our school ship – the brand-new Student Council! But these aren’t your average pen-pushers; they’re full of brilliant ideas and bigger personalities! Let’s peek into their minds with some super silly questions they tackled head-on!

Question 1: Shrinking Spree!

Imagine shrinking smaller than a sharpened pencil! Where would these council writing instruments hide? Well, 3rd-grade secretary Aleanny, our safety-focused leader, would hide somewhere high, where no one could reach her, ready to watch over others. Denis, the treasurer for the 3rd grade, would hide in the ground. You see, Denis learned from Ms. Kelly’s science class about the life cycle of plants, and according to his logic, since he is a size of an average potted plant, as soon as he is in the soil, that should promote growth, until he reaches his normal height again. And Jermiah, another treasurer but the 4th-graders, would definitely hide in the classroom decorations. According to Jermiah’s careful reasoning, students and teachers at Future Leaders Elementary take pride in their classroom decorations – after all, those decorations make our classrooms and hallways such a pleasant place to learn. Since they treat them so carefully, it is definitely safe to hide among the flags hanging from the classroom ceiling somewhere.

Question 2: Super School Powers!

If they could invent awesome school superpowers, Aleanny, would create a “Super-Hearing” force. Sticking with her theme, Aleanny says this superpower will prevent a lot of unpleasant situations. For example, it will deter others from talking behind people’s backs. She would also be able to come to the rescue to anyone who is being bullied. Not to mention super-hearing’s potential for learning. Wouldn’t you like to hear all the teachers in the building at once? You would learn so much faster too! Denis envisions a school where the first floor is only for games and having fun, so you cannot go up the 2nd or 3rd floor bypassing all the fun on the 1st floor – thanks to his superpower, Mind Control. Even if you are not in the mood to have fun, Mind Control will take care of that. However, he does note that there should be a way to “turn off” Mind Control from time to time. Jeremiah wants to give all Future Leaders the Super-powerful tool – a pencil, that would not let them make a mistake. Writing without mistakes is a superpower for sure!

Question 3: Mascot Mania!

Who better to represent these future leaders than animal pals? Jermiah chose the tiger, a symbol of strength and agility, always ready jump on the next challenge! He says they might look scary, but have very soft fur (he swears he touched one). Aleanny picked the loyal dog, trusted and loving, yet ready to defend themselves and others from danger. And Denis went for the determined cheetah, sprinting towards their goals with speed and teamwork!

So there you have it, folks! Your Student Council isn’t just a bunch of names on a board; they’re a kaleidoscope of creativity, humor, and heart, ready to make our school even more awesome! Keep your eyes peeled for their super-sized plans, and remember, if you ever see the 1st-floor “fun zone”, the tools that correct your spelling as you write, or the dog as a school mascot – you know who it is – your very own future leaders council members!
